This photo session is about capturing a moment in time that lasts forever. If your session is scheduled outdoors and inclement weather conditions prevent me from photographing you in the natural setting you most desire, then let’s reschedule it for another day (unless you WANT photographs of you and your family jumping in puddles and twirling umbrellas in the fresh rain!.. which I'm totally up for!).
However, I'm all in for a "Plan B", if you so choose! Perhaps a gazebo you have in your backyard? A pavilion in the community you live in? What would your session look like if we moved indoors entirely?
